My Religion

Religion is a premium clothing brand line, established in East London since 1989.
We known for its Rock ‘n’ Roll trademark, Religion initially launched a line of T-shirts and sweatshirts aimed at the rave scene. They also have been influenced by the East London’s edgy fashion epicentre, Religion quickly developed from a relatively underground label to a distinguished and unique brand within the International market place.

Religion is all about irreverence and attitude, with its trademark destroyed t-shirts and graphic prints; Religion draws its inspiration from new sensations and experiences, looking into elements of the past to create original garments, transforming them into vintage with venom. Music still continues to be a heavy influence behind every collection. SS09 is a fresh but subtle twist on classic vintage shapes with the usual excess of unique themes to spice up the graphics. Still a step ahead of the crowd to keep the followers enthralled.

The name was inspired by the fact that Religion is essentially a principal that is pursued with conscientious devotion, which is the mission of the team behind the label in capturing the zeitgeist and creating the right look at the right point in time. Religion still arouses passion and causes controversy: It controls and transforms lives and this is what religion strives to achieve.
