Swinging London

Don't know what to do for the weekend... Check out some good tips to explore the city!

We shop at Lisa Stickley : England collections now offer bespoke furniture pieces, bringing a new directional side to the brand, encompassing Lisa’s passion for progressive prints. Made in England, and true to her eclectic style these collectable pieces, including cushions and table linens, are available in the Lisa Stickley shop and in liberty.

We brunch at The Wolseley: The Wolseley is a café-restaurant in the grand European tradition located in St James’ on London’s most famous of boulevards, Piccadilly (160 Piccadilly is a Grade II Listed Building). This is best place ever to enjoy a F.E.B (Full English Breakfast, around £13) right after a great night out!

We meet with Anish Kapoor at the Royal Academy: A giant cannon that fires gruesome-looking globs of red wax into a white wall is one of the highlights of an exhibition by Turner Prize-winning artist Anish Kapoor opening this week in London. The British capital's Royal Academy of Arts is hosting a solo exhibition of the Indian-born Kapoor's large-scale and often bizarre-looking work.

We listen to Hockey : Ben, Jerm, Anthony, Brian, from Portland. These “messy “bike-riding vegans could easily be enjoyed by fans of Dylan, Springsteen and the Hold Steady as much as they could by devotees of LCD Soundsystem. My favorite sound: “Song Away”, perfect for a walk in the city!

Have a great weekend!
