Play time with Hermes in London

Everyone will agree with me if you want to be Chic you need a silk scarf. Spotted on the majority of F/W 2011 catwalks, it is The accessory of this winter.
But how to wear it?

La Maison Hermes Knotting Cards offers you multiple ways to wear your favourite scarf, around the neck, headscarf, belt, bag handle, bustier… I love it!

What do you need: one square scarf, at least 90cm x 90cm, just to make sure you can realise the majority of combinations.

I am not sure if you can still find this game cards in store, so I have a special treat for you click here

Mick Rock(s) London

Idea Generation hosted Mick Rock: Rock Exhibition last weekend, in association with Zippo.

Mick Rock not only captured The best rock music pictures, but also helped to define the meaning sense and trend of Rock’n Roll during the 70’s.
This is the best retrospective and documentary done on rock music, mostly provocative and outrageous. To be very honest, what else can we expect from Rock’n Roll anyway…?

I leave you there with my favourite selection ,which I hope will rock your day!.

L'envie Lanvin in London

Oui Oui Oui!

Fashionista get ready for the new H&M designer collection, created by our King: Alber Elbaz for Lanvin .
The Swedish prĂȘt-a-porter brand is making our dream come true: Lanvin designer cloth at affordable prices.

The women collection has been inspired from the Parisian glamour. It is very much a Lanvin collection, with clean silhouette for the dresses, flashy colours and enchanted accessories.

Lucas Ossendrijver was in charge of the man collection. He is showing us today what is the new face (or should I say wardrobe) of a Gentleman. You will find tuxedo suits, 3 buttons jackets, cardigan with light stitching and stunning accessories.

When Lanvin’s exclusive collection for H&M arrives in store on November 23 (24th for UK), the absolute essence of Lanvin will be available in
around 200 stores worldwide.

Arty London

The weekend has arrived again, yes! But do you want it to be the same as every weekend? Here are few things to do this weekend that you probably wouldn't normally...

We visit the London Art festival: One of the UK’s biggest and best established Modern British and Contemporary art fairs, where collectors at all levels of experience can browse and mingle in style.. The London Art Fair 2010 takes over the Business Design Centre in Islington for a five day exhibition of work from over 100 of the country’s premier art.

We eat at OTTOLENGHI: This southern Mediterranean restaurant and deli has become a cast-iron favourite with Islington's socialites, who love the all-white decor, the sharing tables and the exotic cuisine, that mixes a dash of Italy. You can eat from £12.

We shop at Aria :Aria is a lovely place to browse and look at all sorts of designer (but still affordable) house wares, local UK designers. Everyone always comments on how cool the rings are.

We listen to Julien Casablancas, my favourite song “11th Dimension”

Enjoy your Arty weekend…

Swinging London VII

What's new for the weekend??

We go see Trafalgar Christmas tree. Each year since 1947, a Norway offers a Christmas tree to Londoners to show their gratitude for Britain's support during World War II. For many Londoners the Christmas tree and carol singing in Trafalgar Square represent the start of Christmas countdown.

We drink at The Tea House. If you are looking for a warm place to drink a White Jasmine tea (my favorite) this is one of the best spot in London. Even better, these teas make useful gifts – anyone for a cuppa?

We shop Sonia Rykiel at H&M. The French house founded by the “Queen of Knits” represents the distinctive, modern and impertinent spirit of Paris. Sonia Rykiel pour H&M will be available on 5th December.

We listen to Taken by Trees, my favorite, song of John Lewis Christmas ad campaign: Sweet Child O’ Mine (original by Guns & Roses, you knew that already)

Have a lovely weekend…
