Pom Pom International is a non-profit organization that promotes pom-pom making for world peace. They’re collecting hand-made pom-poms from all over, and sewing them together to create the biggest, colorful pom-pom ever. A worthy cause, no doubt.
Amy Lamé has created Pom Pom international one year ago. The main goal is to get that Pom Pom traveling to area of conflict around the globe. Together we can create non-political creative balls of fluffy yarn in a gesture of peace and reconciliation. Amy explains “all the pom-poms are targeted, tracked and sewn together to make the biggest pom-pom in the world”.
If you want to be part of Pom Pom international you can create your own pom-pom, email up a photo of you and your pompom in the online gallery, and send your finished creation to Pom Pom International HQ to be part of the record busting giant pom-pom.
