Free Range 2009 is an unique chance to meet graduate artists and buy their work. Entry is free and the show's open to everyone.

Europe's largest graduate art and design show, Free Range features art, photography, design and interiors over 400,000 square feet (37,000 square metres) of exhibition space.

Art graduates from all over the country descend on East London to show off their work. There are 40 participating colleges, including Oxford Brookes, Goldsmiths, Nottingham Trent, Central St Martins and Falmouth.

Free Range: Eight Weeks of Art and Design

You can see a huge variety of work over eight weeks at Free Range.

  • Weeks one and two are dedicated to design, including graphic design, new media and advertising
  • Weeks three and four feature photography and video
  • Weeks five and six showcase the work of fine art graduates
  • Week seven is devoted to interiors, including product and furniture design
  • Week eight features mixed media, from illustration and photography to surface design

Free Range at Old Truman Brewery

Free Range is housed in the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane, at the centre of East London's buzzing arts scene.

Combine a visit to Free Range with a trip to Brick Lane's cool boutiques, Bangladeshi restaurants and trendy bars for a great day out in East London.
